VegiLicious was built with care for the invisible comfort of the space, so guests can relax both body and mind during their stay.
Hemp charcoal is placed beneath the foundation and mixed into the concrete. The interior walls are coated with hemp charcoal and finished with 100% natural traditional Japanese shikkui plaster.
We avoid chemical building materials as much as possible, and where they cannot be avoided, we use hemp charcoal to help reduce the burden on the space.
Sheets for EMF care are installed within the walls and floors. While many accommodations and homes may exceed 300 V/m² in electric field measurements, our rooms are kept below 15 V/m² throughout — well under the reference value of 25 V/m².
We do what we can to reduce electromagnetic exposure that is difficult to avoid in modern life, creating a space where body and mind can more easily relax.

A Note About the Natural Environment
As our auberge is surrounded by abundant subtropical nature, small creatures from the natural environment may occasionally find their way indoors.
We do our best with careful cleaning and non-chemical measures, but we appreciate your understanding that it is difficult to prevent this completely.
